Richard Connell

Here's a short story that almost everyone's read. It's called The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell. I am currently reading it for the third time in one of my English classes and I'm not sure if I'm sick of it or more intrigued. It's kinda like the original Hunger Games except it's only between two men. Yes, it is a movie, but that's terrible compared to the book; like all movies are. It's really short and can be read in maybe an hour.

(sorry, couldn't find anything but the movie picture.)

Lois Ruby

This one is an...interesting love story. It's called Spirit Rebels by Lois Ruby. Yeah, I know, the title is kinda cheesy (no offense Mrs. Ruby) I fell in love with these characters! Nathanial is so cute and I absolutely adored Evan's sense of humor. If you enjoy a good cold case (cold by about 150 years) and a love triangle between two great guys and a mysterious girl then I would suggest this book to you. Enjoy.

Caterina Gilbert Murdock

Here's a cute fairy tale for ya. Princess Ben by Caterina Gilbert Murdock was a interesting love story with a twist of multiple commonly known fairy tales. Not to mention the very attractive prince...it's a good read :)

a bit more of my writng.

Okay, earlier on I was experiencing a few technical difficulties so I deleted my previous post. But since I know everybody just loves reading my work (yes, that was said with as much sarcasm as I could manage) here's a bit more of my writing...enjoy. I'm really hoping this works..

Peter breathed heavily as he scrambled to the King’s Throne Room. The Wizard’s robes that he wore made it hard to walk, much less run. He had already fallen thrice on the dressing gown and he wasn’t sure his pride could take a forth plunge.

The guards stationed outside His Majesty’s court snickered as the Wizard stumbled onto the doorstep, book in hand, a crooked, liver-spotted finger marking the yellow page. He was coughing something through a thick white beard, matted and tangled with blood, dirt and small twigs.
“I’m sorry sir,” the postman on the left smirked, “Could you repeat that?”
The old Wizard started wheezing hysterically but tried to speak again, “Urgent news…for His Majesty…no time to waste.”

J.K. Rowling

Here's the big one, the book that everyone cares about. None other then the Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. Honestly I haven't read this series yet because I was forced to read the first one in class and hated it. I just finished The Chamber of Secrets and I'll admit it was a lot better. Prisoner of Azkaban. That one started really good. We'll see where that leads...
