I feel like I haven't written an original post in a really long time (which probably means, like, two months but who's counting?) Anyway, this is a shout out to all the peeps who've been with me from the beginning. ;) I love you guys!
All it takes to flip your life upside down is a single second. It doesn't even have to be one of those terribly
long seconds that feel like a lifetime or a moment that gives you the sensation of walking in jell-o, where
everything around you is not quite solid but a chore to slave through nonetheless. No, I'm talking about the
seconds that feel more like a fantasy than reality, like the snap of a rubber band or the blink of an eye.
Those are the moments that change your lives the most. I would know.
For me, it took all of one of these short, seemingly insignificant seconds for Fate to tempt me outside of my
circle of ignorance and into a world of harsh reality. And because of a single second, a moment of chaos,
a minuscule tick of a clock, I can never go back to that circle. My life is fight, or die.
And this is only the beginning.
