Raquel Wilson

About this time last year, I took a post to tell my viewers about a little boy who was hit by a car (He's doing so much better btw) and I'd like to take a moment to make another shout out.
Her name is Raquel and she's a student in my sophomore class. She's also my friend. This last June, Raquel was diagnosed with a golf ball sized brain tumor and after many surgeries, she's still not doing good.
I'm asking a simple plea; pray for her.
Regardless of your beliefs, this sweet girl deserves every prayer, every cry for help, every bit of goodness the world can supply. I believe that God has a plan, but I also believe so very strongly in the power of faith.

Please; pray for Raquel.

Margaret Peterson Haddix

Let's get real here; books with time travel are either super crappy or super good. I guess it depends an awful lot on your perspective of "time travel". Some believe that anything you do in the past will refrain from influencing the future because what happened was always meant to happen. Others believe that the past can be changed. Raise your hand in you followed any of that. (Pause for dramatic effect) Yeah, that's what I thought.
Regardless, the book Found by Margaret Peterson Haddix was a part of the "super good" category.
I loved the idea behind it, the structure of the book that draws you in and makes you keep wanting to read. It's creative, fun, imaginative, cool, a little weird at times but all in all, very, very good. Definitely a easy, fast read.
