It's official; I'm not one for classics.
Okay, that's a lie but it's true for many of them, for example The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. Now I know a lot of you may be like "What! How could you NOT like that book!" but let me make one thing clear: I am a teenager.
I don't really know the point in having a Freshman English class read this book. I mean, nothing really happens. No offence to those who like this book but...all he does is fish. What's the point in me reading this? What was the moral of the story? Never go fishing alone?
I also must say that I was not a fan of the constant run on sentences. It got to a point where I wondered where I could breathe and still make it seem natural as I was reading aloud. A few periods and commas would be nice.
