Over the past week I'm been having this addiction to fairy tales. Well, to be completely honest, I've ALWAYS had something of an addiction to fairy tales...anyway, that's not the point here. The point is, I like to read other people's views on certain tall tales and see how they would like the story to go. As a result, I came across a series called The Faerie Tale Collection by Jenni James. They. Were. Awesome.
I'm not just saying sorta cool, I mean these were completely unique. One of my personal favorites, Hansel and Gretel, was so sweet and so cute and so extremely well put together. All of them are. You can truly see how these princes grow into true, good kings and how these girls help them overcome their arrogance.
They are very fast reads that will take you, like, an hour but are so worth it. (An hour much better spent than, say, watching T.V.) ;)
